"Happy New Year to all Saints members, supporters, and players – young and ‘old’! On behalf of the Executive Committee, I wish you all the very best for 2026.
"Towards the end of 2025, the Rugby Committee listened carefully to player feedback and the direction our senior squad wanted to take for the remainder of the season. As a result, we’re delighted to announce the appointment of Lewis Hall as Head Coach of Senior Rugby at St Neots RUFC.
"This transition does mean we say goodbye to Paul Humphries, and on behalf of the club I’d like to sincerely thank Paul for his time, commitment, and contribution, and wish him all the very best for the future.
"The future at St Neots looks promising. We have a strong player pool, and discussions with Lewis have been extremely positive. Lewis will continue for the remainder of the season as Coaching Coordinator and support coach with the Colts.
Lewis shared his focus for the rest of the campaign: "Building a well-organised, disciplined defence to match our attacking strengths, improving core skills, and running high-quality, efficient training sessions. The goal is to concede fewer points, become a well-drilled defensive outfit, and lay strong foundations for next season. For the Devs, the aim is to finish strongly, field a team every weekend, and continue integrating Colts into the senior setup by inviting them to Thursday training."
"We firmly believe in developing coaches from within the club, and Lewis exemplifies that belief. A true Saint, following his father Gary through the club, Lewis is a student of the game and someone we have great faith in.
"I’m sure you’ll all join me in getting behind Lewis and wishing him every success in the role." #OurClub
