With perfect rugby conditions, St Neots played host to the Cambridgeshire RFU U16’s County Festival, welcoming teams from Shelford, Cambridge, and St Ives to The Common.

The festival was structured in a round-robin format, giving each club a chance to play multiple friendly matches. These games were a valuable opportunity for the players to gel as a team and shake off any early-season rust before the more competitive fixtures begin. It also gave the coaching staff a chance to assess their squads in a match-day setting and experiment with different tactics and combinations.
